History

 

Portrade, the Portuguese Australian Chamber of Commerce, a non-profit organisation, was founded in September 2013 in Sydney by a group of business people and Executive Personnel with links to both Australia and Portugal.

 

Our aim is to foster commercial and cultural ties between the two countries and to provide networking opportunities for Portuguese and Australian businesses alike. It is also about raising awareness of the brand “Portugal” in Australia.

 

Portrade is an independently constituted organisation connected to Portugal through the Portuguese Embassy in Canberra and the Consulate General in Sydney.
